The faces said it all.
Alhamdulillah and MashaAllah — I cannot thank Allah enough for blessing us to witness this historic day, where our beloved Pakistan emerged victorious on every front.
I had been waiting for this press conference since the ceasefire was announced. The sequence of events over the past four days has dramatically shifted the course of recent history. No one desires war — it is ugly and painful — but when a nation is confronted with such circumstances, it becomes the ultimate test of character. I’m filled with immense pride and gratitude that we, as a nation, passed this test with exemplary strength and unity.
As Quaid-e-Azam said, “With unity, faith, and discipline, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.” We saw these words come to life. This victory wasn’t accidental — it was the result of the nation embodying all three qualities. I have long been troubled by the growing disillusionment among some people, by how enemies — both within and beyond our borders — have worked tirelessly to sow seeds of hate and division. But I never lost faith in the strength of our people and our armed forces.
Yes, I feared this divide could be dangerous. But deep down, I always believed that when it truly mattered, the people of Pakistan would unite — and that’s exactly what happened. We are a resilient nation. Time and again, in moments of adversity, we not only stand our ground — we shine. These moments reveal the true potential of Pakistan.
In my view, these are some of the major victories we achieved in past few days:
* We proved to the world that the Pakistan Armed Forces are among the best — strategically, technically, and morally.
* We showed that our power lies not just in our military but in our people. When it comes to defending Pakistan, the entire nation becomes one united force.
* It was heartening to see political parties and people from all walks of life stand shoulder to shoulder — united in purpose and spirit.
* Economically, we may not be among the most powerful, but intellectually and emotionally, we are unmatched. Our will, our spirit, our love for our country — these are our greatest strengths.
* We fought and won on land, sea, air — and just as importantly, in cyberspace. Our IT and cyber warfare capabilities stunned the world, and our media played a responsible, passionate role, informing without sensationalism.
* The operation بُنْيَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ Bunyan um Marsoos, launched at Fajr and broadcasted live, was a bold statement of our confidence, transparency, and faith.
* We displayed grace and dignity. While our enemy targeted civilians, we responded with precision, targeting only military installations — a testament to our values and principles.
* The role of ISPR was especially commendable in keeping the nation — and both national and international media — informed at every stage, with facts and verified information. Their timely briefings and transparency were critical in countering Indian propaganda effectively and maintaining national morale.
* The true face of India — especially Modi and the RSS — was uncovered before the entire world. Their reckless aggression, extremist ideology, and disregard for human rights stood exposed. The illusion of Indian democracy was shattered, and their so-called “free press” was revealed to be little more than a cartoonish propaganda machine, blindly parroting state narratives.
* The issue of Indian-occupied Kashmir was once again brought to the global spotlight. For the first time in years, there is renewed hope that the international community may now be compelled to act, and that this chapter could pave the way for a just resolution of the Kashmir conflict.
* Our strategic partner and iron brother, China, once again stood firmly by Pakistan’s side — proving to the world that our bond is unshakable. Turkey and Azerbaijan also extended full and vocal support, standing shoulder to shoulder with us.
* On the diplomatic front, key nations including the United States, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar played constructive roles in encouraging restraint and facilitating a ceasefire — reflecting Pakistan’s maturity in international diplomacy and its desire for peace.
* And of course — no one can match our humor, our memes, our social media warriors who kept the nation’s morale high through every twist and turn.
These days also served as a much-needed wake-up call for some in our entertainment industry and beyond — a reminder of what truly matters. It became clear who stands with the country and who does not. For me, this war was a blessing in disguise — it united us in a way we haven’t seen in years.
This is the Pakistan I always dreamed of.
A Pakistan where every citizen puts the country first.
A Pakistan where unity triumphs over division.
Now is the time to channel this spirit into building our future — to confront and resolve our internal challenges with the same unity, passion, and purpose. The national spirit is at its peak — let’s not allow it to fade.
I promise, I will do my part to keep this flame alive. And I urge every one of you to do the same.
Pakistan Zindabad.
